Active involvement from the participants is requisited at all times to insure a
successful learning environment.
We use an interactive workshop environment which follows the “3p” principles of
The PPP method can be characterized as a common-sense approach to teaching as it
consists of 3 stages that most people who have successfully learned how to do anything
will be familiar with.
Here, the trainer does 75% of the speaking, presenting new concepts, modeling vocabulary
/ structure / function, etc., to the participant(s). These presentations will include
various media including PowerPoint.
During this segment, students speak 60% of the time, the trainer 40%. A practice
exercise is used for pair / group work that is monitored by the trainer. Practice
is done by the participants at their desks.
Participants speak, write, listen and practice what they have learned. Participants
speak 90% of the time, trainers 10% - only to help or correct if necessary. A production
exercise is given at each appropriate stage.
